Hendricks County Parks Maple Syrup Days 2019
You've heard of farm-to-table dining, but what about tree-to-table? At the 9th Annual Maple Syrup Days event, you'll have the opportunity to sample freshly made maple syrup from right here in Hendricks County. The sugar maple trees at McCloud Nature Park will be tapped for their sap, which has a high sugar content. Staff and volunteers collect the sap and place it in an evaporator.
