From October 5th-26th, you’ll see colorful and creative scarecrow displays all around the Danville courthouse square. This free community art exhibit is fun for all ages!
McCloud Prairie Maze
This year’s McCloud Prairie Maze theme is the annual migration of monarch butterflies to warmer climates. The maze is open each day from September 7th-October 31st, 2019 from dawn to dusk. Test your maze solving skill at this fun outdoor maze, and be sure to dress for the weather. The prairie maze is free for everyone to enjoy.
Hogan Farms Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze
Located at 8900 E County Rd 1000 N in Brownsburg, Indiana, Hogan Farms has a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins. You can also purchase pumpkins that have already been picked. Hogan Farms is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on September 29th & 30th, then from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday from October 1st through October 24th. They are also open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday-Sunday through October 27th.
The 2019 corn maze is made up of USA icons, including the Liberty Bell and an American flag. Cost is $8/person. The corn maze is open from September 29th through October 30th. Hayrides are available between 11:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The petting zoo is open on weekends in October.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Beasley’s Orchard
You can also pick your own pumpkins at Beasley’s Orchard in Avon, Indiana. You can take a hayride through the apple orchard, shoot an apple cannon, get lost in the 8-acre corn maze and enjoy a variety of tasty treats.
