The Danville Farmers Market is held weekly on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon between May 13, 2017 to September 2, 2017.
Sky seminar led by expert sky watchers begins at 8:00 p.m. followed by sky viewing at 8:30 p.m. Seminar is suitable for ages 8 and up. Both small and large telescopes will be set up, participants are also welcome to bring their own. Free.
The 3rd annual Run 4 Freedom race will be held in Avon on July 4th. This is a 4 mile run or 1 mile run/walk event. Registration and details here.
The 11th Annual Blanton Woods 5k winds through the beautiful wooded paths in Blanton Woods; cost is $20 for pre-registration and $30 day of. The 1 mile fun run for kids is free; two loops at Ellis Park.

The second annual Back to School Bingo event is open to all students in Hendricks County. Students will play several rounds of bingo in order to win school supplies for the upcoming school year. This free event takes place at the Pavilion Center.
