St. Malachy Church is hosting their annual country fair and hog roast on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th.
St. Malachy’s Adult Choir will take the stage at 4 p.m. on Friday followed by a performance by GTR at 7 p.m. Enjoy the music of The Flying Toasters from 7:30-10:30 on Saturday night. The Grand Raffle Drawing will take place immediately following The Flying Toasters performance on Saturday.
The food tent will offer a hog roast for both nights of the country fair. You can also sample classic roasted corn on the cob and the country fair’s famous elephant ears!
A number of games will be available, including: duck pond, baseball toss, toilet seat toss, putt-putt golf, and more. Wabash Valley Amusements will provide amusement rides and carnival games such as the Famous Zipper, Round-Up, and Jay Werner Merry-G0-Round.
The Reverse Raffle will take place on Friday night at 6 p.m. in the banquet tent. Tickets are available now for $25 each; total prize is $2500 and only 300 tickets will be sold. Tickets are on sale after Sunday Masses until September 13th and can also be purchased at the parish office between 8-3:30 Monday-Friday.
The Grand Raffle tickets may be purchased in the church Narthex at $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. The drawing will take place Saturday night. First prize will be $10,000,second prize will be $5,000, and third prize will be $2,500.
Country Cash is on sale after Sunday Masses until September 13th and in the parish office. Tickets are $0.50 each and can be used anywhere at the Country Fair except the casino, bingo, carnival rides and areas associated with Wabash Valley Amusements. Pre-Sale Ride Tickets are also available.
