Brownsburg Public Library offers a variety of activities and programs for all ages. If you have New Year’s resolutions to read and write more often in 2016, check out these fantastic adult programs!
Winter Reading Program for Adults
Stop by the Brownsburg Public Library between January 4th and 11th to register for the reading program. You will receive a punch card for registering. The winter reading program will take place between January 11th and February 20th. Over this six week period, you will set your own reading goal for each week. Return to the library sometime in the following week to get your goal card punched. You’ll then receive a raffle ticket that enters you in the contest to win a grand prize when the program concludes. This program is for ages 18 and up. Registration is required. This is a great way to motivate yourself to start reading more regularly in 2016.
Writing Group: Westside Wordsmiths
Do you enjoy writing? Have you been looking for a way to stay motivated and get constructive feedback about your writing? Check out the Westside Wordsmiths program. This writing group meets monthly beginning on Tuesday, January 12 at 6:30 p.m. Bring work to share in a writer-friendly environment and get inspired to create more work in the new year.
