Pecar Memorial Park in Avon recently added hiking trails at the adjacent Pock Woods Trails. To access the trails, simply follow the gravel campground drive to the entrance of Pock Park.
Pecar Park also offers a variety of amenities and activities all year round.
Pecar Park and Nature Center
The Nature Center is home to turtles, African Spurred Tortoises, and other animals. This indoor space can also be rented for events. There’s lots of natural light with large windows that offer a view of the covered back patio and outdoor playground. The facility includes a food prep room and can be rented by the hour or for the day.
Pecar Park includes a pond, a large community fire pit, and plenty of green space for games and activities. Learn about nature in the outdoor classroom or simply explore the natural prairie and wetlands. Kayak passes are available for $5 annually. However, kayaks are not available to rent so you’ll need to bring your own.
