Scares on the Square
This free event on Friday, October 29th on the Danville Courthouse Square begins with a costume parade and fun run. Next up is a golf cart parade and the Danville Community Education Foundation 5K. Black Jack Davey & the Rhythm Kings will play live music at 7:00 p.m.
Intended for all ages to enjoy, this event includes food trucks, activities for kids, scary short films at the Royal, and spooky stories at the library every half hour.
As an added bonus, you can see the scarecrows on display throughout downtown Danville during Scares on the Square.
Fall Festival
Hope Community Church is hosting a free fall festival in Brownsburg on Friday, October 29th. The festival will include bounce houses, a trail hunt, Trunk or Treat, popcorn, an outdoor movie, and snacks.
Trail & Treat
Kids are invited to a fun and safe trick-or-treating event at Williams Park in Brownsburg beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th. A free outdoor showing of “Hocus Pocus” will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Trot N Treat
Strides to Success is hosting a Trot N Treat event on Saturday, October 30th. The horses will be dressed in their best costumes! Halloween games will be set up in the arena.
Brownsburg Trick-or-Treat
Brownsburg trick-or-treat hours are 6:00-8:30 p.m. on October 31st. The Brownsburg Police Department is hosting a trunk-or-treat at the same time.
Last Chance for Additional Fall Activities
Hogan Farms in Brownsburg offers a corn maze, pumpkin patch, farmers market, and more. The McCloud Prairie Maze is open until October 31st. Beasley’s Orchard is wrapping up the fall season with a kid’s costume contest and pumpkin carving contests. These are all great places to enjoy fall weather in beautiful Hendricks County.
