Looking for an old fashioned holiday experience? Check out the Town of North Salem’s Old Fashion Christmas on Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9, 2017.
There are a variety of activities scheduled for the weekend. Free carriage rides will be available and shops will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening. Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be visiting and the North Salem Christmas tree lighting will take place next to the post office at 6 p.m.
On Saturday morning, North Salem United Methodist Church will host Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10 a.m. There will be a chili cook-off as well as other fun activities at the North Salem Community Building throughout the day.
You’ll also have opportunities for holiday shopping at local businesses, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
