The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is hosting the annual Fall Colors Festival on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The festival will be held at McCloud Nature Park, which is located at 8518 Hughes Road in North Salem, Indiana.
This event is family-friendly and open for everyone to enjoy. Experience the beauty of nature and enjoy the changing leaves at McCloud Nature Park. Take a walk around the park and explore some of the 6.5 miles of trails, or try to find your way through this year’s monarch butterfly themed Prairie Maze. You can even take a tractor ride around the park!
Learn how to press apples to make apple cider, or try climbing a tree like a professional. Stop in the Nature Center to learn something new. McCloud Nature Park is also providing souvenirs in the form of candles, pumpkins, and memories. You won’t want to forget your camera!
Here’s a list of the activities planned for the day. All activities are free unless otherwise noted.
