The 2014 Easter Egg Hunt will be hosted by Brownsburg Parks and Recreation on Saturday, April 19th, 2014. The event will be held at Arbuckle Acres.
The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs filled with candy and prizes for children aged 0-12 years to find. A few lucky seekers will even find eggs containing grand prizes!
That elusive bunny will also be around for free photos with the kids starting at 9:30 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m.
Know some older kids who want to join in the Easter fun? Check out the 2nd Annual Eggstavaganza, offered for ages 12 and older between April 14-18. With a cross between treasure seeking and geocaching, kids will be given coordinates that will lead to a box of eggs, which will hold the next coordinate location and a surprise. These coordinates lead to ten different places around Brownsburg, with different surprises at each location. Kids are eligible for even more prizes (such as a Kindle Fire) if they complete the event within the week. Residents can participate for a small fee of $10; regular rate is $15.
Check out the Brownsburg Parks and Recreation website for more information about both events, and happy hunting!
