Hendricks Regional Health is presenting the second annual Hallowellness event at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 28th, 2017.
This family-friendly event is open to the entire community. All activities are free with the exception of the 5k. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a number of contests.
Visit interactive booths, play games, and get lots of information about how to stay happy and healthy. Hayrides, pumpkin giveaways, prizes, inflatables, and plenty of other activities will be available for all to enjoy. The intention of this event is to encourage healthy habits such as staying physically fit and eating well throughout the community by providing ideas and information for attendees.
The Hallowellness event will begin at 9 a.m. and concludes at 12:30 p.m. the 5k run/walk begins at 10 a.m. The race is chip-timed and appropriate for veteran runners as well as families and other groups. The new course will take participants through Danville on Old US 36, beginning and ending at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds. Learn more and register here.
