Hendricks County Absentee Voting

Eligible absentee voters may vote in person before a bi-partisan board at the Hendricks County Voter Registration office (located in the Hendricks County Government Center) beginning 29 days prior to the election. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For the three Saturdays prior to the election, votes can be cast between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. In person voting ends at noon the day before the election.

Eligible absentee voters may also vote by mail. The Hendricks County Voter Registration office must receive a signed absentee ballot application from the voter 5 days prior to the election. All ballots must be mailed; if you can vote in person, it is recommended that you try to do so. There is also a bi-partisan absentee board that can travel to voters who are unable to access voting due to special circumstances such as illness, injury, or physical disability. Contact the voter registration office at (317) 745-9249 if you need to make special arrangements. See absentee voting eligibility requirements here.
