Here are just a few fun fall activities to check out in Hendricks County this year!
Find Your Way Out of a Maze
The Brownsburg Corn Maze theme for 2020 is “Get Out and Vote.” Admission is $8.00 per person, and the maze is open Tuesday-Sunday. The maze is located at Hogan Farms, see additional details here.
Beasley’s Orchard has an 8 acre corn maze dedicated to healthcare workers who are fighting COVID-19. Admission fee varies.
The McCloud Nature Park Prairie Maze this year is snake themed. The maze is a half mile and open from dawn to dusk daily through October 31st. There is no admission fee.
Dress for the weather and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Pick a Pumpkin (and Local Produce)
You can pick your own pumpkin from the patch at Hogan Farms or visit the farm market to find the perfect pumpkin. You’ll find mini pumpkins, pie pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, mini gourds, and more. You can also shop at the farmers market at Hogan Farms every Saturday and Sunday in October.
You can also pick pumpkins at Beasley’s Orchard! Pumpkins will also be available at the Fall Harvest events at Nehemiah Ranch.
Take a Scarecrow Stroll
Explore downtown Danville and be on the lookout for the scarecrows on display around the courthouse square throughout the month of October. Find your favorite!
Get on a Hayride
Hayrides are available at Beasley’s Orchard, Nehemiah Ranch’s Fall Harvest events, and Hogan Farms.
Special Events
Beasley’s Orchard hosts themed events throughout the season, including a celebration of hometown heroes, the annual Heartland Apple Festival, Dog Daze at the Maze, and Halloweekend.
