The Hendricks County Humane Society is hosting the 18th Annual Dogtona! on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This event is all about dogs! It includes games for dogs to play, stage shows featuring dogs, and a variety of contests that dogs can enter. Rescue groups will have adoptable dogs available for you to meet. (There will also be a cafe serving food and beverages for humans.)
Activities include a talent show, leave it competition, and a dog show that any dog may participate in with categories such as: Best Rescue Story and Best Dressed.
Dogtona! is intended to provide a fun and inexpensive day for dogs, to promote adoption of homeless dogs in area shelters and rescue groups, and to provide education on pet responsibility.
The event will take place at the Hendricks Power Exposition Hall at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. People can attend for free. Admission is $5 per dog.
