The traditional Hendricks County 4-H Fair, which was scheduled for July 19-25th, has been canceled for 2020. Instead, Hendricks County 4-H members will be able to participate in a 4-H Exhibit Showcase in a live in-person event. Attendance at the event will only be 4-H members and their families as well as volunteers.
2020 4-H Events
Sunday, July 12th-Friday, July 17th: Indoor projects can be dropped off at specified hours between Sunday, July 12th and Tuesday, July 14th. There will be a closed judging for these projects from Wednesday to Friday.
Saturday, July 18th: Indoor projects that include a perishable item should be dropped off between 7:30-10:30 a.m. There will be a closed judging for these projects on the same day. The Junior Horse & Pony show will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Sunday, July 19th: The Intermediate Horse & Pony show will begin at 9:00 a.m. The Dairy Goats show starts at 10:00 a.m. and Little Critters begins at 2:00 p.m.
Monday, July 20th: The Seniors Horse & Pony show begins at 9:00 a.m. The Meat Goats show start at 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, July 21: The Sheep show starts at 10:00 a.m. There will be action demonstrations throughout the evening.
Wednesday, July 22nd: The Bike Rodeo kicks off at 9:00 a.m. The Beef show starts at 10:00 a.m. The Dairy and Dairy Steers show times are TBD. Indoor projects can be picked up beginning this evening.
Thursday, July 23rd: Both the Swine and Rabbit shows will take place at 10:00 a.m.
Friday, July 24th: The Llama and Poultry shows begin at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, July 25th: The Cat show starts at 9:00 a.m. The time for Supreme Showmanship is TBD, as is the achievement banquet.
