Leadership Hendricks County is offering six half-day workshops designed to provide ongoing professional development for Hendricks County and surrounding area residents. Workshops can be attended individually or as a series.

From Buddy to Boss – Successful Transition as a New Leader
Brad Coy will discuss how to successfully transition into a new leadership position on Thursday, February 17th, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. Learn how to adopt the mindset of a leader and gain new communication, feedback, coaching, and goal-setting skills.
Managing Unsolvable Problems
Do you feel stuck with an unsolvable problem? Greg Pryor’s workshop will help you revisit your approach. You’ll learn about Barry Johnson’s theory of polarity management, discover the five action steps to apply to dilemmas, and more. This class will be held at Brownsburg Public Library on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Introspective: Discovering the Power of Introverts
Eilis Wasserman will help you discover how to leverage introversion’s innate strengths at this workshop on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. Learn how to effectively handle conflict involving introverts, ways to improve communication between introverts and those around them, and more.
The Building Blocks of Belonging
Andrew Adeniyi will share this proven framework for cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. You’ll discover how to prioritize people, amplify purpose, and build an excellent culture.
“Yes, and…” Improving Communication and Leadership Through Improv
Jon Colby will explain how to use improv techniques to build stronger leaders and teams, boost creativity, and help employees and clients feel more valued. This workshop will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Made @ Plainfield.
Igniting Your Social and Emotional Leadership
In this workshop, Erika Petrelli will help you examine emotional intelligence and social-emotional skill-building through the lens of your own leadership style. You’ll discover your social and emotional strengths as well as how to strengthen your team’s strengths. This course will take place at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Leadership Hendricks County and Chamber members may attend for a discounted rate of $99 per person. The member series price for all six workshops is $375. The non-member series price is $495.
