Race 4 Independence 5k Run/Walk & 10k Run
Six year old Zailey Andrade, daughter of a local firefighter, was born with a rare medical condition. The condition affects her joints and muscles, making it so that she has little to no use of her arms and legs. As she grows, it is becoming more and more difficult to transport her to doctor appointments and activities without assistance from devices which are not covered by insurance. Proceeds from this event will go towards purchasing medical supplies for Zailey’s mobility recovery.
You can participate in the 5k run/walk or the 10k run on Saturday, October 24th in Plainfield. The registration fee is $15; shirts are available for an extra $5. Onsite registration begins at 7 a.m. Race begins at 8 a.m. and is located at 651 Vestal Road in Plainfield.
