This family friendly event features a car show, local vendors, a craft fair, chicken wing challenge, food trucks, and the first performance of the Avon Marching Black & Gold's competition show. Admission is $5/person, children 2 and under enter for free.  

Enjoy live music at the Courthouse Square in Danville. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy the food court and beer garden--no coolers, please. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., followed by show at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 21 and up. Under 21 is free.

Take a night hike with a bat biologist from the Center for Bat Research, Outreach, and Conservation at Indiana State University at McCloud Nature Park. Listen to the high frequency calls with an acoustic bat detector. Advance registration required by August 18th. $2 per child ages 2-12, $4 per adult.
