Kids ages 2-5 (accompanied by an adult) can explore Big Walnut Creek at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Older siblings, ages 6-7, may also register and participate. The cost is $12 per child, and the fee covers both child and accompanying adult. This is not a drop-off program.

The Avon Farmers Market features local produce, meat, kids activities, and more. It takes place in the south parking lot of the Avon Hendricks Regional Health Building.

Explore Big Walnut Creek and learn about water during this family day camp, which is recommended for ages 5 and older. Cost is $3/person, must register in advance.

The Plainfield Chamber Farmers Market is held on lawn of the Plainfield Friends Church at US 40 and SR 267 N on Wednesdays from June 3rd to September 9th, 2020.  The market takes place from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

You can shop at the Pittsboro Farmers Market each Wednesday from June 3rd to September 30th, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Pittsboro United Methodist Church, 277 E Main Street.
