Avon Heritage Festival parade; route begins near Kingsway Christian Church and winds through Dan Jones, Beechwood Farms, Harvest Ridge, and back to the church.

The 19th Annual Avon Heritage Festival begins with a parade that starts at Kingsway Christian Church at 10 a.m. and continues with festivities at Washington Township Park at 11 a.m. The event will include bounce houses, live entertainment, food vendors, craft vendors, and more. Fireworks display at dusk; free to attend.

Family camp out at McCloud Nature Park includes games, campfire stories, stargazing, and a moonlight hike. Bring a tent, camping gear, and dinner to cook over the firepit. S'mores and breakfast provided. Details and registration here.
