Race 4 Independence 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run

Participate in either the 5K run/walk or 10K run on October 24th in Plainfield. This event was organized to assist six year old Zailey Andrade, daughter of a local firefighter, with obtaining medical supplies for mobility recovery. Zailey was born with a rare medical condition that affects her joints and muscles and has little to no use of her arms and legs. As Zailey continues to grow, it is becoming harder to transport her to doctor visits and activities without assistance from devices which are not covered by insurance.

The event registration cost is $15, with an option to pay an extra $5 for a shirt.
