Artists Paint the Town

Gallery on the Square and the Downtown Danville Partnership are hosting the 3rd Annual Plein Air Event on Saturday, August 15th. Experience historic Danville. Artists compete for more than $2,000 in prizes. Award-winning paintings will be on display and for sale at Gallery on the Square through September 15, 2020.
Check in at Gallery on the Square between 7:00-10:00 a.m. on August 15th to get stamps and enjoy donuts, juice, and coffee/tea.
Completed artwork must be turned in at the Ellis Park Train Station (600 E Main Street) by 3:30 p.m. Enjoy a light evening meal while the artwork is being judged. Cash awards will be presented at 6:00 p.m.
There will also be an art fair at the train station between noon and 6:00 p.m.
