There are a number of community Easter egg events in Hendricks County. We’ve rounded up several here, but you may also want to check with your local church to learn about other Easter activities.
Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day
The entire family can enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day at Arbuckle Acres Park in Brownsburg on Saturday, April 13th. The event includes an egg hunt with more than 14,000 eggs, a bounce house, Nine13sports Bike Station, carnival games, petting zoo, food trucks, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more.
Helicopter Egg Drop
The helicopter egg drop will take place at the Al & Jan Barker Sports Complex on April 13th. The event will also include photos with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, and face painting. Space is limited for the first 1,000 kids, so be sure to arrive early.
Business Easter Egg Hunt Around the Square
Many local Easter egg events are for kids, but this one is for the grown ups! Easter eggs with local discounts will be hidden around the Danville square and in many of the retail stores each evening from April 15th-19th.
Hope Community Church Easter Egg Hunt
Annual Easter egg hunt featuring 10,000 eggs for ages 0-12. Children will be split into age groups. Free event, but registration is recommended.
Eggstravaganza
Search for hidden camouflaged eggs filled with nature clues along two trails at McCloud Nature Park. Each trail has a different level of difficulty for different age groups. The clue inside each egg will help you answer a question on the scavenger hunt sheet, which you can turn in at the Nature Center to claim a prize. Be prepared to hike! This free program is open to all ages and no registration is required.
Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt 2019 and Rubber Ducky Race
Children ages 2-9 can hunt for candy filled eggs and special prizes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Following the egg hunt, there will be a rubber ducky race at the park.
