Spring is in the air and Easter is just around the corner. There are several great Easter activities for kids in Hendricks County. Here’s a quick look at what is coming up!
CANCELED Brownsburg Parks Easter Egg Hunt
The Brownsburg Parks Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Arbuckle Acres Park in Brownsburg on April 4th, 2020. This event is free to attend and will include a variety of activities, such as a petting zoo, food trucks, music, and carnival games. Photos with the Easter Bunny and other activities will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at noon. The hunt for 18,000 eggs will start at 11:00 a.m.
CANCELED Easter Eggstravaganza
Search for Easter eggs underwater at the Richard A. Carlucci Recreation and Aquatic Center in Plainfield on April 4th. This event will also include photos with the Easter Bunny. The eggstravanza takes place from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
EGGstravaganza
McCloud Park Naturalists will hide camouflaged eggs filled with nature clues along two trails. Each trail has a different difficulty level, intended for different age groups. The clues will help you answer questions on your scavenger hunt sheet. Find all of the answers, turn your sheet in at the Nature Center, and claim a small prize. Dress for the weather. Free to attend, appropriate for all ages, and no advance registration is needed.
Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt 2020
On April 11th, children ages 2-9 are invited to participate in the Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt. Egg hunt age groups are 2-3, 4-6, and 7-9, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. The event will take place at Danville Parks & Recreation, 49 N Wayne Street in Danville from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Photos with the Easter Bunny will begin at 10:00 a.m.
