Easter egg hunts are a time-honored tradition. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Easter events had to be canceled in 2020. This year, things still look a bit different–you’ll see plenty of hand sanitizer, masks, and social distancing–but families can once again enjoy Easter egg events in Hendricks County.
Sensory Easter
For individuals who need a personalized and quiet Easter egg hunting experience, Washington Township Parks and Recreation is hosting a sensory Easter program. 25 eggs are filled for each participant to find in their own patch of grass. Register in advance for a 10 minute hunting time. There will also be food and a photo booth with real bunnies to pose with.
Misty Eyes Doggy Easter Egg Hunt
Your dog can participate in an Easter egg hunt at Misty Eyes Animal Center while you enjoy prizes, baked goods, photos, and more. Participating dogs must be neutered/spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and kept on leash at all times. Register in advance for this event. The cost is $5 per dog, with all proceeds benefiting Misty Eyes.
Hope Community Church Easter Egg Hunt
