Spring is in full swing. From wildflowers to baby animals, there are new sights just about everywhere you look outdoors. Celebrate the season with these fun events!
Signs of Spring
This free event at the outdoor classroom at Williams Park in Brownsburg on April 17th, 2021 features a short hands-on presentation about local wildlife. Then, go for a hike to look for signs of spring, including native wildflowers and birds.
Earth Day Celebration
Celebrate Earth Day at the outdoor classroom at Williams Park in Brownsburg on April 22nd, 2021 with Brownsburg Parks staff and other local organizations. Enjoy activities, a guided hike, and register for prizes. Cost to attend is $5 per family. There will be two sessions (5:30-6:30 p.m. or 7:00-8:00 p.m.) and social distancing is encouraged.
Earth Day Extravaganza
This event celebrates Earth Day as well as Pecar Park’s second birthday on April 24th, 2021 at Pecar Park in Avon. You can create crafts with recycled items, meet the Nature Center animals, and visit booths from local organizations. Admission is $2 per person or $5 for a family of four.
Arbor Day Tree Giveaway
Pick up a free tree from Williams Park on April 30th, 2021. Staff will place the tree in your vehicle. There are only 100 trees available, first come first served.
