As the state begins to reopen, local art studios are offering ways to exercise your creativity while maintaining a safe distance from others. Here’s a quick look at what’s happening now.
Board and Brush
Brownsburg’s Board and Brush has DIY kits available for curbside pick up. Simply choose the project you’d like and complete it at home. You can also book DIY time in the studio.
UPaint Pottery Studio
You can stop in to paint at UPaint Pottery Studio. Curbside pick up is also available for painting kits that you can paint at home.
The Tie Dye Lab
The Tie Dye Lab is open by appointment only until further notice, in accordance with the State of Indiana’s Stages of Operation.
Gallery Coloring Club
Gallery on the Square is open and offering a new coloring club for adults. Quality coloring pages and pencils are provided on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and on the third Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. No artistic skills required, $5 fee.
The number of those coloring is currently limited to 8. Seats are spaced at least six feet apart. Chairs, tables, and pencil cases are sanitized before and after each gathering. Masks are recommended.
Bisque Barn
Bisque Barn is open for walk-in painting. Take home painting kits are also available.
