The Brownsburg Lions Club is busy gearing up for their annual 4th of July Extravaganza in the heart of Brownsburg. This multi-faceted event offers fun and entertainment for the entire family, from the famed corn tent to the traditional 4th of July parade.
The carnival will be held from 6 p.m. until closing daily from June 30th-July 4th. This year’s wrist band nights are June 30th, July 2nd, and July 3rd. Wrist bands can be purchased at ticket booths and are available for $18. This one-time allows carnival goers to ride all the rides they can for the specified night.
Food will be available for purchase and the corn tent will be open from 5-9 p.m. each evening. The tent features roasted ears of corn dipped in butter and seasoned to your taste.
The Independence Day parade will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th. The parade route winds through Brownsburg and donations for the evening’s fireworks will be accepted at this time. The Brownsburg Lions Club has been organizing the parade since 1966 and expects a crowd of approximately 10,000 for this year’s event.
The Brownsburg Kiwanis Club will be sponsoring bingo on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 6-10 p.m.
A spectacular fireworks show will be held at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th at Arbuckle Acres Park. The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will perform at the park prior to the fireworks show.
The 4th of July is a great time to see the community of Brownsburg in action. Enjoy a summer festival, live entertainment, fireworks, and plenty of time to catch up with friends old and new at this annual hometown event.
