Celebrate Fall in Brownsburg

October is chock full of family fun and even some spooky adventures in Brownsburg and Hendricks County. Check out these events!

IMG_0926Halloween at the Y

Enjoy a family Halloween party at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA in Avon on October 23 from 6-8 p.m. Wear your favorite costume for campfire songs, stories, games, crafts, food, a haunted house and more. Food is provided by Nameless Catering. Admission fee of $5/person for members, $8/person for guests, kids 2 and under free.

Ghost and Goblins Trick or Treat Trail

Costumes encouraged! Families are invited to trick or treat along the trails at Washington Township’s Upper Park in Avon from 4-7 p.m. on October 24, 2015. Kids can participate in a costume contest. Local food vendors and raffles round out the afternoon’s activities.

Trick or Treat at the DAC

Trick or treat at Hargrave Gym in Danville from 5-6:45 p.m. on October 24th. Lights will be on for trick or treating, off for the haunted house beginning at 7 p.m.

Haunted Hargrave Hall

Hargrave Hall is also “haunted” on October 17th and 24th. Admission for the haunted house is $5/person.

Dog Daze at the Maze

Beasley’s Corn Maze is donating 50% of corn maze proceeds to dog rescue groups on October 24th & 25th. Local rescue groups will be in attendance with adoptable pets. Families can also enjoy hayrides, a costume contest, activities, and great food! Dogs welcome to attend.

Add in some fall colors and local apple cider and you’ve got another perfect fall weekend in Hendricks County. What do you love most about this time of year?
