Brownsburg and the surrounding community have a lot to offer, including excellent parks. One recent addition to local community amenities is Cardinal Bark Park.
You’ll find Cardinal Bark Park located near the B&O Trail at 3432 Hornaday Road in Brownsburg. This two-acre area of Cardinal Park is separated into two areas: one for large dogs and one for dogs under 30 pounds.
The dog park is open from 5:00 a.m. to dusk every day except Thursday, when it is closed for maintenance from 7:00 a.m. to noon. The park may be closed at any time for maintenance purposes as needed.
Each area features plenty of room for your dog to run and play off leash. There are benches and shade for pet owners in addition to a walking path that winds around the play area so you can get some steps in while supervising your pet’s play time. There is also a wash station available for cleaning those muddy paws!
In order to visit the bark park, dogs must have current vaccinations for rabies, bordetella, distemper, and parvo. You can register for a membership online or at the Brownsburg Parks tent at the Brownsburg Farmers Market through the month of July 2020.
Members must be at least 18 years of age. The membership includes a collar tag for each dog and a key fob for the owner to use to enter the dog park gates. The collar tag must be visible on the dog while at the park.
All members must be at least 18 years of age. All applications must be accompanied by current vaccination records for rabies, parvo, distemper and bordetella.
