Brownsburg’s third annual Big Go Block Party celebrates racing in central Indiana. This fanfest for the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals Big Go event will take place on Tuesday, August 23rd from 5-8 p.m. on the Brownsburg Town Hall Green.
The Big Go Block Party is a highly anticipated family friendly event that allows fans to meet professional drivers, see show cars and hot rods, and celebrate racing in Hendricks County. Fans can get autographs from NHRA pro races between 6-7 p.m.
The Big Go event is held at Lucas Oil Raceway over Labor Day weekend, featuring more than 1,000 competitors in a variety of categories. This an annual event for the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
Whether you’re planning to attend the Big Go or you have a child who loves seeing different types of cars, you’re sure to enjoy the Big Go Block Party event. There will be a number of family activities in addition to a cruise-in hot rod show, local food trucks, and live music performed by jam rock band 800 lb. Gorilla. Displays will include Top Fuel dragsters and funny cars as well as Pro Stock cars and motorcycles.
This free event is hosted by the Town of Brownsburg, the National Hot Road Association (NHRA), Lucas Oil Raceway, Don Schumacher Racing, and John Force Racing.
