Stay in Brownsburg to eat? Or go to Avon?
One of the major issues that Brownsburg has when it comes to commerce is the loss of local income to neighboring cities . While I acknowledge that we certainly don’t have the restaurant selection that some of our more commerce heavy neighbors enjoy, I think we as residents do forget about some great options we do have when we are ready for something more upscale or just different.
Brownsburg Dining Options
A great feature this website offers you is a complete listing of every restaurant in town, did you know that? Check it out. But, I also wanted to point out some options that you may not have considered for a while, or you may not know about at all. Go to the link for each restaurant to get their contact info…
Savor Thyme
We recently wrote a review for Savor Thyme, you can find it here. This is by far my favorite option in town when I want something cooked from scratch. They have a limited menu, but I have not had anything yet that was not cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully.
Boulder Creek
For long-time residents, this is an obvious choice. The atmosphere, the bread, and the entree’s are delish!
Dawson’s Too
This is a newer option in town, but depending on where you live, easy to forget. If you don’t drive over near Marsh often, don’t forget this great option when looking for a nice dinner out. Steaks and many other nice entree options, check them out.
So Italian
Another pizza place? Nope. This one was a pleasant surprise for me the first time I found it. Right across 136 from Papa Johns, So Italian has a great selection of Italian entrees, and the price is tough to beat. Get the pizza one slice at a time, or a whole pie.
Of course, we have many other great options in town, but I wanted to touch on just a few. Many of us would like to see a few new options come to town as well to capture some of this money that leaves town for dinner so often.
What restaurants would you most like to see added to our town?
My wish list includes Monicals, Panda Express, and Cracker Barrel. How about you?
