The Brownsburg Lions Club has been organizing a 4th of July Extravaganza every year since 1966. This year’s celebration will take place from July 2nd-6th at Arbuckle Acres Park in Brownsburg.
The carnival is open from 6 p.m. until closing daily throughout the event. You can purchase “all you can ride” tickets at booths at the carnival. Wrist band nights are July 2, 3, 5, and 6. Enjoy rides and games with family and friends!
The Brownsburg Lions Club will be serving their famous roasted ears of corn from 5-9 p.m. nightly from July 2-6. The corn is dipped in butter and seasoned to your taste. The kitchen will also be open with a variety of other food options.
Each year, thousands of folks enjoy the 4th of July parade, which covers a two mile route in Brownsburg. In fact, there are regularly more than 10,000 attendees. You won’t want to miss it! The parade begins at 10 a.m. on July 4th and includes more than 60 floats.
The 4th of July fireworks show will begin at approximately 10 p.m. The fireworks will be set off from the field between Eagle and White Lick elementary schools. This 30 minute show and the dazzling grand finale is a favorite local tradition. In addition to the Brownsburg Lions Club, this year’s fireworks are sponsored by Nelson Jewelers, Rowe Paving, Hendricks Power Cooperative, Brownsburg Public Library, Town of Brownsburg, and Brownsburg Parks and Recreation.
