The town of Brownsburg is constantly growing and improving. With that growth comes necessary construction throughout the town. Check out these projects and improvements in Brownsburg!
Airport Road Lift Station: The Airport Road Lift Station was upgraded to increase wastewater pumping capacity.
Gateway Landscaping: A trail, shelter house, and new landscaping were installed near I-74 this summer to help promote pedestrian traffic in Brownsburg.
Tilden Road: The Tilden Road drainage project will separate the previously combined storm and sanitary sewers along Tilden Road. This will help alleviate stress on the sanitary system during wet weather. Curbs, gutters, manholes, and curb inlets will be replaced along Tilden as a part of the storm sewer construction. Be sure to watch for flaggers and changes in traffic patterns along Tilden Road throughout the construction period.
South Green Street & County Road 300N Roundabout: Construction of a roundabout will begin at the intersection of South Green Street and County Road 300N in 2016.
Ronald Reagan Parkway: Construction of the section of Ronald Reagan Parkway between County Road 300N and US 136 is currently taking place. This 1.7 mile section will complete construction of the Ronald Reagan Parkway.
East Northfield Drive: The East Northfield Drive construction project is nearing completion. Once the project is completed, Brownsburg will have travel lanes from East Main Street/US 136 north to 56th Street as well as center turn lanes.
West Northfield Drive: This project will help create less congestion with travel and turn lanes as well as intersection improvements.
