Brownsburg Christmas Tree Pickup

December 30, 2017 By Becky Trowbridge

Looking for a way to dispose of your natural Christmas tree? Brownsburg town residents can put their natural Christmas trees at the curb for pickup starting on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

All decorations, including lights and ornaments, must be removed from the tree prior to placing it curbside.

The tree pickup route will run Monday through Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday as make up days in the event of inclement weather or other factors that delay the normal schedule. The routes run every other week. There’s no need to call to request pickup, simply make sure that your tree is on the curb for the appointed pickup date. Here’s the schedule for easy reference:

Route 1: Weeks of January 2 and 16

Monday: Hollaway Pointe, Hollaway Ridge, Hollaway Corner, Northridge, Fountains of Northridge, Arbors of Northridge, Northridge Estates, and Mardale Estates, Arbor Springs, Summer Ridge and Autumn Glen

Tuesday:  Windridge Landing, Oaks of Windridge, Winding Creek, Green Street Village, Whittington Estates, Lake Ridge and Hession Fields

Wednesday:  Murphy Meadows and Austin Meadows

Route 2: Weeks of January 8 and 22

Monday:  Willow Springs, Sunny Knoll, Hartford Park, The Hideaway, Holiday Lane, Prairie Village, Chadwick Square, Cedar Run, Cedar Run Lakes and Sugar Bush Farms

Tuesday:  Hunters Cove, Thornburg, Bersot Crossing, Fox Chase and Heritage Hills

Wednesday:  Ashwood, Hornaday Heights, Ironwood Estates, Brownswood, Country Walk, Fairfield Heights, Meadowchase, Lincoln Pointe, Beacon Pointe, Holiday Pines, Creekside Commons, Wynne Farms and Maple Grove

When a holiday falls on a Monday, the route will begin on Tuesday. Collection times will vary, but it’s best to have your tree along the curb by 7 a.m. on your neighborhood’s scheduled pickup date.
