The Avon community will be celebrating during the 19th Annual Avon Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The festival beings with a parade that starts at Kingsway Christian Church at 10 a.m. The parade route winds through Dan Jones, Beechwood Farms, and Harvest Ridge befor returning to the church.
The festivities continue at Washington Township Park at 11 a.m. This event will include live entertainment, craft vendors, bounce houses, food vendors, and more.
Pets will be available for adoption. The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will perform and local talent will be showcased in the talent show finals. Pony rides will be available in addition to Kids Zone fun.
