The 45th Annual St. Malachy Country Fair and Hog Roast will be held on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, which is located at 9833 E County Road 750 N in Brownsburg.
This event is open to all and includes amusement rides and a carnival provided by Wabash Valley Amusements. Check out the Famous Zipper, Round-up, and even the classic 1952 Jay Warner Merry-Go-Round. All-You-Can-Ride wristbands are available for $15 on Saturday and are valid from 3:00-6:00 p.m. that day.
The Pacers Fan Van will appear from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday. Colts in Motion will be onsite from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday. Nine13Sports will be there between 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday. There will also be a variety of games for kids.
The church choir will perform at the church at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Other live entertainment throughout the weekend includes performances by Tight Rope, Cornfield Mafia, Southridge, and Big Daddy Caddy. There will be a silent auction, reverse raffle, bingo, and casino tent.
On Friday, there is a roasted pork loin dinner in the school cafeteria from 5:00-7:00 p.m. On Saturday, same time and location but the menu changes to cured ham. There will also be food available from various vendors.
On both Friday and Saturday, the Vendor Hall in the school gym will be open between 4:00-9:00 p.m. Participating vendors include SpinalCare Physical Medicine – Avon, Matilda Jane Trunk Keeper,Hoosier Boy Home Improvements, Pinnacle Fire Protection, Inc., Kevin Kerzee Agency – Farmers Insurance, Active Family Chiropractic, Premier Jewelry, Tenacity Dance Company, Mathnasium of Brownsburg, Athletico of Brownsburg, BJ Crafts, Tastefully Simple, and Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living.
The event will conclude with fireworks on Saturday night directly after the grand raffle drawing at 10:15 p.m.
This year, the Country Fair Committee is partnering with the Food Pantry Ministry for a food drive. You can drop off a non-perishable food item at the school atrium or country cash ticket tent during the Country Fair. Donated items will be given to Cornerstone Food Pantry and The Hendricks County Senior Services.
