Spring is here and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in Hendricks County, including several Easter egg hunts.
Flashlight EGG-STREME Hunt
Teens and adults can hunt for eggs after dark at McCloud Nature Park on April 1, 2022. Find the eggs to get clues to solve a scavenger hunt and win prizes! $5 per person, registration required by March 28th.
Washington Township’s EGGstravaganza
Collect items from activity booths and learn about community organizations at this event. Get photos with the Easter Bunny, eat cotton candy, get your face painted, and more on April 2nd. Free event.
Easter Scramble
The annual Plainfield Parks and Recreation Easter Scramble on April 9th features an Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, music, and crafts. This is a free event, no registration is required.
Sensory Easter Egg Hunt
Need a quieter way to hunt for Easter eggs? Washington Township Parks and Recreation offers this sensor egg hunt on April 9th which allows each participant to find 25 eggs in their own patch of grass. There will be a photo booth with real bunnies to pose with, and the bunnies do allow you to pet them. Sign up for a 10-minute egg-hunting time here.
Easter Egg Hunt at Hope Community Church
Hope Community Church has over 10,000 eggs for kids ages 0-12 to find at the 8th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 16th. Areas will be designated for ages groups to make sure everyone gets plenty of treats. Prizes available. Register in advance for this free event.
Camo Egg Hunt
Look for hidden camouflaged eggs along the trails at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park on April 16th. The eggs contain clues for a scavenger hunt. Solve the clues to win a small prize. All ages, free event.
